Access FTP sites natively in Windows 8

Step 1: Type "Computer".

Step 2: Click on “MAP NETWORK DRIVE”..

Step 3: "MAP NETWOR DRIVEwindow will open. Now click on the link "Connect to a Web site that you can use to store your documents and pictures."

Step 4: Simply create a new network location. Select"Choose a custom network location".

Step 5: Type your ftp address e.g.  ftp://ftp.yoursite.com. Specify a user name and password.

Step 6: Give your newly created network location a name.
